Each year The Shorthorn Foundation offers a number of college scholarships specifically for members of the American Junior Shorthorn Association (AJSA). The American Shorthorn Association (ASA) together with the Foundation believe investing in the education of association youth is vital, since they represent the future of both the beef cattle industry and the Shorthorn breed.

AJSA members may submit applications for up to three of the six different college scholarships listed below.

Overview
Each year the AFSCME Council 93 Memorial Scholarship Fund awards ten separate $1,000 scholarships to students enrolled in accredited postsecondary programs. These awards are given in remembrance of our departed members and may be renewed for each year the recipient continues their studies, up to a maximum of four consecutive years.
