Background For over 29 years Captain Pete Freeman served as the driving force behind the original Reunion known as the Retired Aviation Supply Marines (RASM). He championed expanding the Reunion to include all Aviation Logisticians, and his efforts led to renaming and refocusing the group as Aviation Logistics Marines. In tribute to his dedication and the continuing tradition of aviation logistics, a scholarship was created in his honor.
