Scholarship Sponsored by Society of Petroleum Engineers Alaska Section
Introduction
The Alaska Section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) is awarding scholarships for the 2025–2026 academic year to qualified students. Read the requirements and submission instructions carefully; keeping to the deadlines is essential.
Required materials
- Completed scholarship application.
- An official transcript that is sealed and certified by the issuing school and that includes Fall 2024 final grades. The transcript must be mailed (see submission instructions below).
Submission method and deadlines
- Applications may be submitted either by email or by postal mail. All applications must be received by Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Late applications will not be reviewed.
- Transcripts are accepted by mail only and must be postmarked on or before Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Transcripts sent with signature-required delivery are not acceptable because the SPE mailbox is not checked daily; such mail will be returned. You may email the SPE to verify receipt of your transcript.
