Overview
The Kit Faragher Foundation is accepting applications for the 2026–2027 academic year. Eligible candidates are Colorado high school seniors preparing to graduate and seeking financial support for college.
Scholarship Awards
- Five scholarships of $16,000 each will be granted.
- One of the five awards is reserved specifically for a graduating senior from a Montrose County, Colorado high school (as verified by the student’s transcript).
- Students from Montrose County are also eligible to compete for any of the four statewide awards.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a graduating high school student in the state of Colorado.
- Minimum cumulative high school GPA of 2.5.
- Must demonstrate strong financial need.
- Should show a positive attitude, a solid work ethic, and a clear drive to achieve goals.
Required Application Materials
- Completed application form.
- Official high school transcript.
- A written essay that reflects the applicant’s personality and accomplishments and outlines both short-term and long-term goals.
